Train station Roodt Syre
Roodt Syre railway station is located in the centre of this small village in the east of the country. The station is served by the railway line between Luxembourg and Wasserbillig with an extension to Germany (Trier).
There are a few small shops and restaurants in the vicinity of the station, while the station building itself is empty and not open to the public. This explains the lack of toilets or other facilities for travellers.
The 150 metre long double-track platforms are equipped with two shelters for travellers (4 seats and one space for the disabled), there is a ticket machine for people with special needs and timetables are displayed visually and audibly if necessary. The ticket machine is located on platform 2.
Access to platform no. 1 is via the level crossing, all in a secure and levelled area. The car park for travellers has 52 spaces, 5 of which are for people with reduced mobility.
